Hello everyone, how was your weekend? ^_^
I’m still free for the next couple of days since it was Easter here yesterday, so maybe I’ll get to work on some new collabs if anyone else is interested 😀 hit me up!
Since I got the Makeup Revolution Protection Palette, it’s all I’ve been using for contour, blush or powder. This palette has everything you need for your face makeup neatly packaged and paired with a huge mirror. Yes, please! I got the one in Light/Medium.
10/10, A++, all of the points to Gryffindor. This has a mirror on one side of the whole palette, thank you Jesus!
The palette has a sleek black case and besides the blessing which is that big mirror, it also has a transparent plastic cover over the products, you you don’t get it all messy.
There’s me taking the picture with my tiny Samsung compact, which I use for all my posts. I wanted to wave at you but I couldn’t shoot a steady image with one hand ha ha 😀
The Protection Palette comes with three cream concealer shades, one powder, one contour, one blush and one highlight.
Are very creamy buy also very sticky, which I like because I have to top them off with powder anyway. The first shade is a very light one, it’s even lighter than my ivory foundation, so it will certainly work for the fairest of complexions as well. The middle one is a light/medium vanilla shade and the bottom concealer is a slightly darker shade that I can’t really use, but it will come in handy if I decide to get a fake tan again.
The face powder in the light-medium Protection Palette is best described as an ivory shade. It works perfect for me.
This is a pretty good setting powder that I have used to replace my Maybelline Fit Me one. It seemed a bit dusty at first but then I realized that it’s very light, so that might be the cause. Either way it works well and even if it can’t keep me shine-free for the whole day, it does a good job and my skin looks like a porcelain doll’s face when I put it on.
The contour is a cocoa shade that can look a bit fake on pale skin. I recommend building it up in very small amounts if you’d like to.
I love this dusty rose shade, as it looks more natural, but I wouldn’t have minded a brighter, more bubblegum-ish tone one, as it works very well with light skin.
I can’t lie, I haven’t been using this. I have oily skin so I try to avoid highlight as much as possible, but this is indeed a very subtle one. It comes in a champagne colour.
The concealers and the powders come off really pigmented and easy to blend in.
Makeup Revolution did a great job with the Protection Palette, it’s perfect for travelling and every day use and it’s really affordable too. I have been using it every day and I keep it in my bag as well, in case I need some emergency damage repair.
And by damage repair I mean fixing my face after I cry at the movies.
Do you own any Makeup Revolution face products beauties? What do you think of the brand so far?
Have a marvelous day!
